Yup, good thing he's not on the Leafs eh?

Being in Pittsburgh, we'll only see him a couple of times a year.

You got that right. I actually wanted that game real bad. After watching Mario (im sick of his cockyness like he is the second coming of ******) That Leclair, I want to beat what ever team he is on.

I agree fully.  That hit was clean.  And that @#!^& helmet-headed bozo Fraser knew it too, since he called an "equalizer" penalty on the Penguins midway through the Habs' major.  Fraser pretty much has a bearing on every game he refs. He's the absolute worst.

Theo had a great game, it looks like he's well on his way now with a couple of solid games in a row.  I'd still like to see him control the rebounds a bit better . . . but I can live with 'em if he keeps playing this well . . . especially on Saturday.

The hit looked fine to me, the Pens player had his head down and was bent over a bit.  There was no elbow, Begin's shoulder hit him.  I've never liked Kerry Fraser though . . .

Yes, too bad we didn't pull out a win, we certainly had a shot but going 0-3 on the shoot-out isn't going to win you anything.

I'm happy with the point, bring on the Leafs!

exactly right, we got a point we barely deserved. that still makes us 8-1-1 in our last 10 games which is still pretty good. We've got at least a point in 6 straight games including 5 straight wins. Things dont look THAT bad after this game. I do admit though, we should have won in overtime. Too many quality chances.

Oh and And-o, im not exactly sure what you see in Bonk offensively, the guy couldnt hit a soccer net. 27 STRAIGHT games without an NHL goal. Not exactly what i call a "power forward" The guy is staying on the 3rd line, Koivu and Ribeiro deserve the first 2 and thats why they are there.

I was just about to comment on Theodore.  That's three or four solid performances since he got yanked that time against the Rangers.  A great save on Mario in the OT and the shootout, among others.  Dare we say that he's "back"?

As for Fraser, he's the second-worst referee in NHL history (yes, I'm given to hyperbole), after Don Koharski, Sidney Crosby's fellow Dartmouth native.

Frazer is more concerned with the hair. You notice him looking in  the glass at  his reflection at that pompadeau he has. (spelling)

ok, first of all we by no means deserved to win that game after coming out in the first the way we did, but i believe we still would have pulled it out if the referee would have called a decent game.

that second period was ridiculous, markov was football tackled behind our net and no call, two minutes later we get 2 penalties in a row for far less.  that hit by begin was absolutely clean, how do you call that, let alone give him a 5 minute penalty. i was hitting the roof at that point.  on so many occasions our guys were hooked going to the net or brought down in the corner and no call!!! everytime we breathed on a pittsburg player the arm of one of those stupid zebra's were up.  so frustrating to watch...

it was a matter of time before we lost a game when we don't play hard for a full 60 minutes, at least we got a point on the road and if we had to lose, it was nice to see crosby get the winner

hopefully thew boys put in a more complete effort on saturday!

Its never to early to start talking about a game! Right? I don't know about this one. I am not familiar with the way that the Pengiuns have been playing. Should be a good one. As always, I would like to see Kovy and Souray step up.
Im sorry, last time a checked Kovy was our best offensive player. How exactly whould you like him to step it up? That made no sense at all. You want a player to step it up? How about Ryder? Or Dagenais? These guys arent doing much at the moment.

Sorry guys, I was refering to KOVALEV not KOIVU!!

True that Kovalev didn't have a very good game. Unlike Koivu he's inconsistent (even when Koivu's not playing well - which is rare enough - he's always smart, but sometimes I wonder about Kovalev's hockey smarts).

The one thing he has that's different from most Habs forwards is that even when he's playing poorly he pulls the opposing defensemen out of position. They get flustered by him.
