Mario here are two quick ways you can improve your team.

1) you need to drop your inactive players and pick up some replacements (ie drop retirees like Brett Hull and Roman Turek; place Brian Leetch on IR and pick up a temporary replacement)

2) rotate your lineup so you don't leave pts on the bench.  I know you are busy but you can set your lines for a week or two in advance.  Do this after you make all your roster changes though, because if you make a roster change, it does not remember your saved future lineups.
