Is it just me or do others think that Souray needs to hammer someone with a clean open ice hit to get himself playing like he should? Even a dirty hit will do right about now! It's worth taking a few penalties to get him to be less tentative to the new rules. Just play like you can big guy!

Or is it between the ears with his marriage still the problem?

I agree it appears he needs a couple of good hits here at home to get the fans cheering and give him some momentum. I remember goalies hated to see him at the blue line because of the hard accurate shot. I wish he and the other D man as well as the PP would step it kick it up a notch, as Emerile says

I can't seem to figure out what is going on with Souray. He skates as though he is part of Disney Stars on Ice... no interest in the game for much of the time. It's strange coming from a guy who was an all-star during the last season of play. I don't think this is a "new rules" thing. Maybe it is the marriage thing... Whatever the reason, CJ has got to shake him up or else he's got to sit.

Agreed. But the past couple of games he has been improving. I thought he played a pretty good game tonite against the Lightning. Gotta give him some credit.

I'm a big fan of the "original" Souray.
