You know I am watching the Ottawa/Sabres game tonite. It was 5-0 Ottawa in the 2nd. Now it is 5-3 halfway through the 2nd period. As Habs fans we tend to get down on our team when we blosw a lead or we perceive them to have stopped skating or trying. But here we have the best team in the league and a couple lapses, a couple penalties and BOOM..Buffalo is right back in it. We may as well get used to it guys, this is the new NHL. Used to be that a 2 goal lead was the worst to have. Now it is a 4 goal lead lol.


It is nice though to watch a game like this where I do not care who wins. You can look at all the plays OBJECTIVELY instead of the bias that comes with being a habs fan. Try it sometime and then remember ho wyou watched THAT game the next time you watch our habs.

2 minute slater and it is now 7-3! WOW. Ottawa is unreal. We only lost to these guys in OT! They are the CLASS of this league..bar none..not even close. Anyone see that Mcgratton kid scrap? He destroys everyone he fights. Ottawa is the COMPLETE package folks.

Nilsey- good point. I guess we will see when they play each other eh? I still think that Ottawa has more depth than Detroit. From what I have seen, Detroit has relied more heavily on the goaltedning of Legacy to date then Ottawa has on Hasek/Emery. TGime will tell the tale of the tape.

Last year in the AHL Ivananas destroyed McGratton a number of times. why do you think Ivanans fought Chara? McGratton was scared. just wait to ratis gets back he'll be able to destroy many fighters.

When the Sens don't choke against the Laffs in the playoffs,I'll finally believe they are the team to beat. Until then......
