Everytime we have a bad game, the excuses start for Theo. He is not consistent and he lost the game for us in the 3rd period. They did come one back , but could not keep the Rangers from scoring. Hence we are now two losses in a row. And if we continue this 3 in a row after Monday. My question is what do we do now??? We are all playing except for Sundstrum. All the goalies I have been watching are having very strong consistent games, we need Theo to be there for us. We need the PP to get going. I do not think I can say any more.

That about sums it up.  Theo blew the game for us in the first and Lumquist kept the game out of reach the rest of the way.  This game made me want to go   .... but at least it wasn't 8-0, eh Belfour?!

Ya last I knew Heatley had 4 goals. How come we never get that type of person. You know like Lafluer from the 80's

I  was going to post almost the same thread as you with one diffrence. Im done with Theo, he will never be an elite goalie because of his inconsistancy. I was one who was defending him but then he stepped up than fell down. I dont care how much he steps up because that fall will shortly come after. Theo reminds me of two goalies. Jim Carrey, and Patrick Lalime. more of lalime because he was so incostitant and kept ottawa from getting far in the playoffs.

On the bright side i think Danis handled himself very well. The two goals he let in he had no chance. The first one was terrible defensive coverage and the last one was a bad giveaway by Koivu. Dags played very well and used his shot well too, he had many scoring chances and against most teams would have had one if not two goals, not counting the post at the end.

Back to the negitave. Perezhogin, not a terrible game but not a great one, he really showed his immaturity in this game. When the habs were one goal down he was on a three on one with Higgs and Pleks and decided to just shoot, which was a bad choice. Plekanec also played poorly in my oppinion i noticed alot of giveaways he had some good sparks just like Perezhogin. The only rookie (besides Danis) in my mind that has been consitant has been Higgins. Higgins shows offensive play and hard work and hes solid defensivly. if anyone of our rookies should have been moved up it should have been Higgs. He was once but never got that much of a chance. Don't get me wrong Pleks and Perez are good but make rookie mistakes.

On another note does anybody know who long Ivananas will be out? hes presence was missed in Ottawa when Neil and McGratton were running us over.
