I had to go out tonight and walked in with 16 seconds left. All I saw was Boston down 2 men make a pretty good attempt at tying the game. Did I miss a good game, anyone stand out How was Theo Please????

Ok-yes Theo showed up in the 3rd. But my point remains. Consistency. He put us in a hole in the first. But I am hopeful that can be fixed.  Other comments- Perez HAS to stay on the top line when Zed is back. How can you take him off? Kovalev-bar none, shut yer mouths....one if the top 10 players in that league!! And Claude Julien- like he did in the playoffs 2 years ago simply outcoached Mike Sullivan. CJ's line changes were masterful and as a fellow coach. Julien put on a coaching clinic tonite trust me.

Did anyone else think that Boulion stunk tonite? But by Komo is looking better every game.

Koivu and Kovalev played a great game.  Every game I watch Koivu and Kovalev are always dangerous with the puck. They might not score but they get scoring chances every game. Theodore didn't play a great game, but made some great saves in the third to keep us up in the game.  I thought there pp needs work, they need to create more traffic in front of the net. S. Souray is struggling, he is having a heard time adjusting to the game. I also thought our defense keeps making mistake and coughing up the puck. They were turning the puck over  more than a few times.

Great game to watch, especially in the third.

From a post here, I guess Souray was not up to the task ???? My son said the game was on OLN, I will go down and watch the game because they repeat the game

So we played a terrible first but dominated the 2nd and 3rd.  You can't place all the blame on Theo for the goals, 1 was screened, there was a give away which he looked surprised on and the shot was perfect too.  On the offensive side, our goals were nice - we got some talent!  Koivu and Kovalev's tic-tac-toe had Raycroft dizzy, Ryders backhander was perfect and even Ribs goal look like he batted it out of mid air.  Things are looking up I think.  What Claude said to the troups in the 1st intermission worked.

One thing:

No matter what was happening individually on the ice, I gotta say this is the most fun I've had watching the Habs in years.

Early prediction: We'll knock out boston in the first round again, and just lose the second in a close game 7 with Jersey

I think we played a terrible first but the 2nd and 3rd was much better except last minute of 3rd. About the goals first one was Boulions mistake, what was he thinking when passed the puck directly to axelsson 2nd and 3rd Theo was was screened but he gives plenty of rebounds which makes scoring possible. Perez was good, he´s natural goal scorer and has great speed with puck. Our defence is sleeping, especial Souray and especial in front off net when Theo gives rebound should defence clear the puck away.

Let's give Theo credit

It isn't easy to control rebounds when you can't see the shot coming.  All accounts of the game suggest Theo was brilliant (except maybe the first goal, but that's not unexpected on a surprise give-away.)

The Habs easily dominated this game after the first, outscoring 4-1 from that point on.  Things are falling into place.  It's looking less like a game of pick up each game.

it was plekanec that gave away the puck, none the less it was a bad giveaway and not really theo's fault....not much he could do with such little time to react
