Right now if we have to bring a player up from the AHL that player has to clear waivers.  What happens if that team calls up a player from the AHL to fill in an injury does that player still have to clear waivers?


This rule is really stupid if you asked me.

this rule only apply when a player has to clear waiver to be sent down in the first place....it does not apply to players with 2 way contracts or rookies
