4-1 in first 5

Well who would have thought we would be 4-1 after 5 games only losing to one of the best in the league if not THE best.

The funny thing is other than today's game the Habs have not played well. They've played very loose, not the kinda hockey you'd expect to win games with but we have.

So even though there have been some bright spots on the team Pleks, Higgs, Perez, Begin, Markov, Sak and steady play with Sunny, Bulis, Bonk, Rivet, Dandy and Bouillon there is alot of improvement required. Souray, Ribs, Dags, Ryder, Theo and Kovalev are all not playing up to expectations. If they start playing well than this team can be everything a lot of us have been waiting on for a long time. With Theo, Kovy, Souray and Ryder I am not too worried because I think they have it in them to turn it around. With Ribs and Dags I'm just not sure they have what it takes to make it in the new NHL (I hope I am wrong and they can contribute).

Zednik, Komi, Streit and Danis have not really had a chance to make an impact yet. Danis got the SO today and this might push Theo to get his butt in gear.

So after 5 we are 4-1 with a lot of improvement being a possibility. Not bad if you ask me, not bad at all.
