The good: koivu(nice goal, always a threat), Markov(solid again), Bouillion( solid again), Begin (love this guy). I also liked plekanac tonight--what about him as our second line center?


The bad: Theodore(looking very average to me), Souray( Sometimes just stands around), Kovelev( other than that great move to set up Koivu, he played uninspired), Ryder(not that bad a game but...I've seen him better)


The ugly: Ribero( sorry but this guy is not cutting it as our second line center, he looked like a boy playing with men tonight. God awful). WE NEED A REAL SECOND LINE CENTER!!! And that game exposed our need for another true blueliner( that way Streit is not our 6th dman).

Great post. Couldn't have put it better myself

I've seen Kovy play a lot here in NY, and I like him, but he's like your dream date who wants to go out with you, but doesn't feel like going out all that often, then 10 dates in a row, etc, etc It's just his cycle of things. But he's so good when he's good, it trancends all the crap in between

Ribs will look like a kid when he''s 40. wouldn't mind seeing what could be had for him
