I know its early in the season, but i like Ryder a lot and was kind of disappointed how long it took BG to sign him.


Do you think signing him to a one year deal was smart.  I would have signed him for at least 2 or 3 years.  I think this guy is for real and can be a good goal scorer.  I think we will not see him in a habs jersey next year.

i agree i love ryder to i sure hope we don/t lose him at the end of the year but i trust bg will get him sign to a long term contract .

He can't declare free agency for a while so I think he'll be around.  And by signing him to a 1yr, it puts Ryder in a spot where he has to prove himself so to earn a big contract.  So far, looks like he will.  3goals, 2 of them game winners, in the first 2 games.  What a guy!!
