Ramblings after two...
Permalink Closed

Last night one NYR foward helped kill two 5-on-3's....Jason Ward!

If Marcel LeClair...I mean Hossa...wasn't good enough to play left wing for Montreal - what is Dagenais's excuse (honestly, he must have nude photos of Bob on vacation in Cancun).

Sheldon Souray's numbness in his wrist migrated....to his head!  Shelley might struggle with the new rules!?!?!?!

Frankie Bou and Andy Markov are our best d-men by a mile after 5 periods!

The Habs still lack that killer instinct!  When they get a team down one goal...they need to learn how to go for the throat!!!

Perezhogin will be a good one!

Notice all the shots from the point that no longer make it to the net...far more traffic with the new rules I guess?!?!?!

One thing that is agaonizingly apparent to me is this. With teh new rules, the players who were simply "marginal" in the past are standing out like a sore thumb. One that comes to mind is Kasparitus for the Rangers. He has gotten by for years by clutching and grabbing and now looks horrible. Same with Dagenais and Ribs. I said it before. Ribs is HORRIBLe defensively and it shows tonite.

I thought that exact same train of thought.  There must have been some underlying issue...maybe Hossa wanted out.  What knows.  But remember when he first came up and scored 6g in 5 games?  Then what happened?  The year is just begun, but ya, what's up with Dagenais?  But, some trades you win, some you lose and you never really know until one of the guys retires.
