Let me help Beaker..he does not deserve it because unlike the Brodeurs and Roys (before he retired) he has not proven that he can be C_O_N_S_I_S_T_E_N_T. When he can sho wthat he can play a full season without letting in one or 2 soft goals a game then he will have shown that he desrves to be paid top $. Even tonite I thought he looked shaky.

I don't know, Barry. Theodore looked pretty good to me. I really hope he consistantly plays well, but tonight he didn't appear to be very shakey at all. His positioning was top notch, and aside from the Bergeron goal that I thought he probably should have had, he shut them down the whole night.

Who says roy was consistent maby once he got to colorodo but i remember alot of shaky regular season games and I remember a major pouter if anyone scored on Roy early it was like he gave up and pouted for the rest of the game! that said however he was the best playoff golie in the game and as long as theo stays better than average in regular season and outstanding in the playoffs I can live with that. But he looked pretty darn good to me last night.

That is my whole point here. The Bergereon goal. Throughout his career Theo has shown a trend of letting in at least one of those a game. Yes, an elite goalie that he proclaims to be definately should have had the Bergeron goal. However in hid defence he cam eback and made up for it. My only point is that before people can porclaim Theor as an elite goalie in the NHL, he has to stop letting those in.

No goalie is perfect, everyone lets in a bad goal once and a while. But Theop definetely kept the habs in it last night and he was the #1 reason they won the game. With an average goalie in net it would have been 3-1 boston at least and ryders goal would have meant nothing.
