This proves that Bob planned to deal Ribs all along!
(Preview)
Bob drafts Maxwell and White (both centres)...then signs Baines, Aubin, Grabovski (all centres)...and gives Locke, Lapierre, Urquhart and Chipchura LONNNNGGGG looks!
...and y'er telling And-o that Bob didn't plan to unload Riblet all along?!?!?!!?
KUDOS to Bob for keeping...

Seriously guys!
(Preview)
If we take from our D to add a center, we're in greater trouble. I feel Souray and Rivet are our size, leadership and grit back there. Adding Nitwit and Reverse doesn't give us the luxury of getting thinner.
I feel strongly that Nitwit will wear thin with you all by season's end. Gainey wo...

Ripple told me to watch for...
(Preview)
Ripple told me to watch for "big news" over the next little while..... he thinks Gomez could be a possibility for Montreal. Anyone else think so too??? or do you think that the team is locked for now?
Just thought I'd ask.

No dousy
(Preview)
This is just two teams dumping players!
Nothing substantial coming our way.
So for And-o who stated Gainey would pull off a dousy...this probably isn't what he meant or is it? -- Edited by AB Habman at 22:48, 2006-09-30

Something I realized while responding to antoher post is that, while the jury is still out on this trade, it give the habs something that any team with great asperations needs: Depth at Defence.

Good Ridence Riberio - Higgins Back to Centre!
(Preview)
This is a great deal for many reasons:
1. Riberio - no body can respect this guy in the room, he's embarassed the entire organization with his Soccer Dive in the playoffs 3 years ago, laying on the ice like he was shot, then taunting the Bruins.
2. I highly doubt he's well liked in...

Latendresse in any other Jersey
(Preview)
I was at last nite's game and while watching the game, I had to think about Latendresse playing as a Senator or any other top team in the league. Would he be a standout? Not really. We Hab fans and it was obvious from the large contingent of Hab fans at the game last nite, are looking for...

Does anyone know what is happening with Emelin? Of our defensive prospects who are about ready skill and development wise for the NHL, he is the most highly regarded, but it seems like he is still over in Russia. Is he ever planning on coming over? I'm curious if we will ever see him in a Canadians u...

Im not sure if this has been posted yet, if it has i apologize. If not, yay for me. But good news concerning Sourays injury is that it was a minor shoulder injury, it will not effect him starting the season, he will be in the game tonight and will not miss any games. So that is good news! Just bring back Boulli...

THE pre- season is what it is, a warm up for the coming season, a chance for rookies to make or break for a spot in the line up, a team can go 6-0 or 0-6 in the pre-season and it means nothing!! SO, saying this: IT'S TIME!!play hockey in games that count! GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
