Habs owner bids to buy Liverpool FC: report

Montreal Canadiens majority owner George Gillett Jr. offered no comment Monday on reports that he is bidding to buy Liverpool FC of the English Premiership.

According to The Mail, a British newspaper, Gillett, 67, is one of several magnates interested in purchasing the Mighty Reds.

Mighty reds, my aching ****! Those scouse /¤"¤&% are worse than the Laffs! Oh well, if Gillette can suck all their money out and put it into the Canadiens they will at least be could for something!

Maybe we can sign Peter Crouch and we will have a forward with size... sort of... skinny as hell...


And had we kept Ribs a little longer he could have perfected his diving game in the Premiership.


I couldn't resist that little jab, even though I am one of the Ribs supporters.

Now he'll have two teams that dress in red, are filled with foreigners, and won most of their championships 20 years ago!
