if the habs can get the leafs to take penilties  then we should have this game in the books  our special teams are in the top 5  in the league for both pk and pp. make it a special teams game and we got it.

There's no doubt in my mind we win this game. Easily. At home vs the Leafs is a no brainer. There is no way they can shut down our #1 line and our grind line is on a tear. And their goaltending has no business in the NHL. 7-2.

First off who is going to be the first one to hammer tucker, I know our PP is one of the best in the league and although the buds are struggling right now on their own PP,  we must not give them any chances.  There PP can be really good, just look at last year.  We need to watch the cross crease pass, they always try and set that up.  It worked against us last time.  So if we play smart and stay out of the box, we should hammer the laffs.  Hit tucker any chance they get,   Go Habs Go.  Nothing beats Hockey Night in Canada Habs and Buds on Saturday night.  Losing to the buds is not acceptable,  going into work Monday depends on this game.

right on ray!! I know you being in the toronto area its even worse if they lose. I know for me that whenever the habs lose, my next day is guarenteed to be grumpier than if they win. So really, seeing me after a habs loss is not pretty. After a win, theres nobody happier. And dont even think about me during a losing streak!!!

And-o just fears the fact that the Habs often seem to 'play down to' the Leafs!

...here is hoping that Carbo can plant the seeds for success so that this one is the victory that it should be!

totally agree with you Ando,  the first game they played this year against the buds, they seem to play down to the laffs.  It was a disappoint especially after the way they played the night before in Buffalo.  I was at both games and it was like night and day.  We need them to play like they did the last 2 games of the year against the buds.  but beat them more than 4 and 5 goals.  I want double digits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And-o just digs the way that 'Razor' dreams beyond his doubts and goes right for the 'BIG dirty'!

(sounds like he...like And-o...is pretty sick of having to attend Sunday dinners...Monday morning meetings...and social events with smug Laff fans who wholeheartedly believe that they have a shot!!!)

 The Laffs will be hungry.

I hope we can match their intensity and work ethic. If we do, we'll win this game. We also have to eliminate defensive mistakes and stupid penalties.

Two first goals that Abby let out a bad rebound. Third goal, he just looked silly on.

Huet, where are you...we need you buddy!

Horrible play by our Defence once again, What the hell does Rivet think anyways, lazy play, if they play the first 10 mins of the 2nd like this, i hope they lose.....And Abby, well i'm not gonna even start with him.

This is just pathetic. I don't mind it as much when the Habs get slapped around by any other team. But please not the Leafs.

Rivet looked dumb on the last goal. Guy looks like he has lead feet.

Perez scores a beauty like that and the boys don't use that as momentum, oh well....6 games to go against these guys, its too bad Abby is looking bad....flopping all over the place like Hasek...Looks good on Carbo for the switch, at least Huet is smiling

What a difference a week makes.  I'm here on the Press Gallery.  32-12 shots on goal for Toronto after 2 periods.  Are you kidding me???

By far the worst game of the year thus far.  And the thing  is TO's defence is very suspect and the Candiens are beating themselves.  Missed passes, and not winning faceoffs.

I think Abby has played a very solid game, a little out of position maybe, but he made some key saves to keep us in this things, the rest of the team needs to help out.

Habs have to simplify their play, just shoot it in and forecheck. Too many fancy plays at the blue line. Also too much seperation and no protection of the puck carrier.

Terrible game so far. Also our goalie not strong at all. Mr. Floppy making me dizzy so far.

Abby made several key saves in the second up until he let in the 4th goal.

To his defense, the Canadiens in front of him are not helping.  He faced 19 shots in the second, and 32 after two.  This is Toronto right?

My thoughts exactly Mario. The whole team seems to be in slow motion...except for Higgins and Perez. Also...Sammy looks to be a bit more into the game tonight The one thing I have to say though is that Abby's rebounds are KILLING me!!!! He needs to control the puck better which in turn helps out the defense.

Holy Crapoli!!!!! I started my previous post and it was 4-2 and about 10 seconds after I finished it......BOOM!!!!....it's now 4-4....... We just might get at least a point out of this game and we certainly don't deserve it after an overall poor team effort....

50 shots on AB, maybe you guys should take it easy on him. If it was Huet, could be 10 goals against...
