He can't be sent down because he's French???

Give me a break.

If he were sent down, half the posters on this board would go wild because they'd say that the Habs are ruining his development. If he stays, the other half would complain that he doesn't deserve to be in the NHL.

Until there's someone who's clearly being overlooked for playing time (which, at this point, is not the case), let the guy learn. Although he hasn't contributed much, he hasn't made many mistakes.

tell me another reason hes still here , i know , its because hes creating so many scoring chances , maybe its because he leading the team in points or hit , he should be sent back to junior and told to learn how to play hockey at both ends of the ice , dominate the league and go win a world junior tital . there are 2 reasons hes still on the team , 1 he is french , call me what you want but its the truth , even patty roy agrees that is the case . and 2 gui agent told carbo and gainey if he is sent to junior he will not sign with them and go back into the draft . we are complaining about our 4th line while begin is strugling to play center we could put him back at wing and call up lapierre to center the 4th line . hes a big bruiser to complement begina and murry .

First of all, I didn't call you anything. Secondly, who cares what Patrick Roy has to say. He no longer has anything to do with the team. Thirdly, I don't think that anyone with as little bargaining power as Latendresse is giving any ultimatums to the Habs management.

i know you didnt call me anything , its all good , i was thinking some may call me a bigot or racest for saying hes only here cause hes french . ha had all kinds of negotiating power , gainey picked him for a reason , he played well in training camp and got the fans to fall in love with him , now like his agent threatened , if gainey doesnt sign him and start him in the nhl then he goes back to junior and goes back in the draft , we loose a 2nd round pick and gainey is murdered in the press for letting the "next great french superstar" get away . gainey was criticized last year sending him back to do it 2 years in a row he would have been crucified by the media .
