Anxious to see how the new lines click. I am glad to see Carbo making a change but he needs to stick with it. Chara will be a factor with the Bruins as he seems to have his way with our smallish forwards but I think we are working the puck well down low. Should be a good game. I still feel that, in spite of their lack of early success, that the Broons are a vastly improved club this year.

With Thomas and Huet struggling early, this game may be the turn around for both, the Bruins will be shorthanded with a few key guys hurt and we need to take advantage of that. Demoting Samsanov to the fourth line is getting mixed reviews from everyone on the board, and as of right now im sitting on the fence, I just don't know.  but one thing I do know is that I didn't like the way Sammy made some comments to the reporters.  I just hope this doesn't blow up and we get a cancer in the dressing room.  As for Lats, on the second line, more pressure on this kid.  I just can't help but think this kid is got way too much pressure on him and that he should be in the 'Q'

Hey Ray...if Samsonov doesn't like playing on the fourth line then all he has to do is just start playing up to his billing...simple as that!  And, really, what better place would there be to get back your skating legs than alongside a couple of plugs like Murray and Begs!!!????

And-o feels though that Samsonov has typically been a streaky type player though...but he has been just simply useless out there at times - unacceptable!!!  Kudos to Carbo for this little attitude adjustment!!!

...and if the fourth line suddenly bags a few!!!?

Habs seem to be getting dominated in the faceoff circle. (Only listening and checking stats online here).

By the way, CJAD just confirmed that Sammy is on the 3rd line, Perez is on the 4th.

Alexei 'not want play' tonight!

...and when you embarrass the refs - you pay!

...the NESN announcers pretty much summed Alexei up though with the 'enigma' comment!

Watching the game on RDS .... Kovalev is SOOOOO predictable.  Seconds before his penalty, I said to my dad "Watch this, Kovy's going to get a retaliation penalty "  and sure enough, he gets called, and then he whines and gets a game misconduct.

Rivets obstruction penatly was a total braincramp .... the guy still hasn't learned to keep his stick down. Honestly, they should start handing out 4 min penalties for this kind of thing.  Players still haven't learned to keep the sticks down.

Final comment, on Chara's pp goal, RDS replayed a slow mo replay, camera angle from just behind Chara, and what do you see???? Souray jumping OUT OF THE WAY OF THE SHOT (the guy has no guts, he didn't even try to block the shot)

Pretty hard to argue with that!

...except (judging from the NESN feed) And-o thought that Shelley just made a poor judgement call...he just wanted Huet to see the shot, since he felt that he was only going to acheive a partial block!  And-o wasn't too upset by that...just remember how the 5-on-3 started if you really need to assign blame!!!

Kovalev would not be my choice if I was putting a team together. Appears to me to lack heart and desire.

And really, I cannot figure out what Rivet was complaining about. Cripes its been two seasons now that they call that...duh...

Carbo better get these boys playing more disciplined. What I don't like is Carbo sitting there shaking his head at the refs as if it is their fault.

same goes for Ninny...he grabed the guys shirt....HELLO!

the reason kovy was upset because 1-2 boston players tried to knee him and there was no calls .again im not complaining about the calls on us but some of the missed calls on boston.

I don't care how upset he was. Some of the penalties he has been taking are just....um.,,,....."enigmatic"?

For those who think I'm yet another Kovalev-basher, I still think he can be the difference-maker for this team. THE BEST PLAYER. But I'm not liking what I see so far this year. Guys like Higgins and Bonk and Johnson and Koivu and Ryder and Komisarek and Souray are flat out making him look bad.

Ok now that this one's over tell me What the heck do you say in 10 seconds to a ref to get 2 10 and a game?He wacked his stick because of a non call ok theres 2 but ive seen it let go too.Leafs game Tues. night after a goal Sundin shattered his over the net and didnt get called so i guess its not an auto call huh!!!

Oh well before all that how did ya like Sammy on the 3rd line, in my opnion they still had jump, collectively had 7 shots on net. Again ill say Bonk and that line are our  #2centre and #2 line and i think ice time wise they are too.

Anyway 2 big division pts. and the Laffs Sat night(who BTW are getting shelled again by Ottawa)

I really liked the Bonk-Samsonov-Johnson line tonight.  I think this line could be a real asset if they continue to play like they did.  Should start referring to them as the number two line.

Latendresse was invisible, even before Kovalev got tossed.  I hope he can get his bearings, soon.

Right on boys! I had hockey tonight, so I had no idea what was going on until now. The only Hab I have on my hockey pool team is Higgins, and everyone laughed at me for it. Who's laughing now?? I LOVE this guy!

Me too! My friends said I was stupid and look at me now! I also have Markov

And by the way, this crushing defeat with 1.2 seconds left could ONLY happen against Boston. It's like they're cursed. They just cannot beat us!
