Kovalev. The fans, the media, the coaching staff spend so much time trying TO FIND the right line mates for him. It's getting somewhat old. He's suppossed to be a top player. Top players are just that, top players no matter who you team him up with. AND don't top players make other players better. It seems he hasn't made anyone better. Name one, if you dare.
The point is, we had the Koivu experiment, the Ribs experiment, the Pleks experiment. None of them really worked like WE wanted.
Here's the question: Is Kovalev the problem or is everyone else who tries to play on his line, the problem?
Everyone knows, he has major talent but talent only gets you so far.
kovalev is not the problem...how huet??? how about Markov....how about ninnima?? its not kovalev.....lets stop this nonsense ....like we say one guy doesnt make the team , one guy doesnt break it either.
Saku11, it's just the energy that is spent on Kovalev can maybe be spent on, like you said, other players like Markov, Huet, Nins etc...exactly let's stop the Kovy nonsense.

We all want him to succeed but he's had his chance to prove himself. Has he delivered? Well, he's been true to himself. A flashy, talented player, with average point totals.
I love watching Kovy play, when he's "on"...but he's not the team
