i love his personality, i love his grit and he does have a great shot on the powerplay. But i feel like Komisarek has really stepped up his game from as year ago and really kind of taking the same role as souray just not the same shot. I also feel like souray is caught standing sometimes and really weak at the defensive end. I feel that if we can send a package deal of Souray and maybe someone like Downey or maybe even Murray we can pickup a solid number 1 or 2 dman and give Kostisyn an opportunity to come up.


Komisarek has taken over souray's role and i think made him expandable. We need a "take charge" defenseman.

With all the young talent ready to jump to the NHL, we have a lot of players "of value" to deal in the near future. Maybe not right away, though. Personally, I hope Souray sticks around.

I agree he is expandable, but he is also injury prone, getting a no.1 or 2 D-man for him could be be tough.

He definitely is expandable...because there are lots of Timmy's and belle Provinces around....


As for expendable..not at present given injuries..but I think if Bouillon and Dandy come back we could see the last of that Cannon at the point.


Although i think we all know Souray is a slow starter defensively..it usually takes a few days to find his rhythm....


BTW Rhythm is a hard word to spell.....damn tricky.

In Finland they spell it Rhiithiim.
