A typical Samsonov goal

Sammy and kovy will score those kind of goals. They are the ultimate at the "keep away" type plays.

I wonder if these guys realize they have four other team-mates with them.

Have to admit though, when it works...it's a thing of beauty. More often than not though, it doesn't.

Despite this typical individual effort goal, Kovy and Sammy have to be split up. This line is totally ineffective in the chemistry department.

I will refer to them as the Russian twins untill they're split up.

3 new threads and all negative even though we are doing quite well. Does nothing change, Ab?

No negativity...just facts.

The Sammy line has to be split.

Murray brings more to the table than Downey.

We have no depth on Defense.

sounds negative to me! with only a few games played and the habs doing ok, then leave things as is, let these lines jell ! by, breaking up lines when you don't have to yet, then the team can't build chemstry. and a team without chemstry would be a team like the laffs- useless!

Ya im with you newf lets give em a few games to get things going seeing how plecks played whole camp on 3rd line and we are one of a few teams still unbeaten in regulation having played arguably 2 of the best teams in the conference and 3 out of 4 of our games on the road. All in all id say pretty good start but i guess by some ppls rationale theyd stop using heatly spezza and alfie on the pp cause they havent even looked good let alone score!! There's a saying in Baseball that says you dont get out of a hitting slump on the bench, you have to hit your way out of it!!! Same here good players will find ways to produce but you got to let em play, putting them on the 3rd or 4th line will only further frustarte struggling players.Carbo is a hard working well respected nhl player turned coach and im betting he knows how to motivate talented players with a lazy streak, and if not well we will just trade em to Dallas with the other ex habs.
