The GOHABS.com reunion 2.0 reunion is Saturday Oct 21st.
Some of you will be arriving in Montreal on Friday October 20th.
I would like to reserve a table at the Cage aux Sport (Sports bar) located inside the Bell Centre, entrance next to the main entrance on Ste. Antoine.
This doesn’t have to be restricted to out-of-towners. Anyone wishing to join us can.
I would like everyone to post here if they will attend Friday’s get-together at La Cage with me, and I will make reservations UNDER MY NAME.
The plan is we’ll grab some food, get to know each other some more, and then play it by ear where we’ll go. Safe to assume we will remain downtown because that’s where everything is … nightlife … bars .. ballets etc.
On Saturday, for those wishing to take a tour of the Bell Centre, you can. There are English tours available at 11:15 am and 2:45 pm
Cost is: Adults: $8.00 Seniors: $6.00 Students 6 to 17 year old: $6.00 Children 5 and under: Free
For those attending the game, remember, Saturday night there’s no need to go for dinner, because our Club Desjardins seats gives us access to free Bell Centre food (please make some room for ice cream during the second intermission). Soft drinks are also free. Only beer isn’t. Coat check is also free. Doors open at 5:30pm. DON’T BE LATE! LOL
Mario, I'm in for two at the Cage on Friday night - probably will arrive around 8:00 depending on flight, taxi, etc. I'll check into the Delta, freshen up and voila!
Also, if the tour needs to be booked ahead of time, I'm in for two for that as well!
Mario, I'm in for the cages, as i will be arriving with Rip and MC girl. As for the tour of the bell centre depending on what time we go I'll give you a yes or no. Take care and see you and everyone else in one week!!!!!!!!! Yahoo can't wait

The tour is open to all. I will NOT be organizing it. There are two slots available (AM and PM). I've taken the tour already. A must see. However I will not be available Saturday afternoon.
I will, however, reserve Friday night. So far we're 8 people, for 8pm.
Sounds like you guys are gonna have a blast!!!!!!!! Wish I could be there. Will be in Vegas that week "twistin by the pool". Have fun, will be back on the board on completion of the World Series .................. "Heads Up --- Sticks Down" ............ normie

Remember we're in the all you can eat section. So it's important to pace yourself. And the lineups for smoke meat might be long, but it's sure worth it. And finally, make room for ice cream during the second intermission .

All you can EAT??? Ug, I bought the wrong ticket...can I trade for the "I just flew all the way from BC and I want lotsa Canadians" section?
Seriously though Mario, I think ice cream might be the last thing on my mind during the second intermission...but maybe they've patented the beer/ice cream float???
Reservations made Friday night, Oct 20, for 8pm, at La Cage aux Sports located at 1212 de la Gauchetiere, next to the main extrance of the Bell Centre. Yes the sports bars is actually inside the Bell Centre.
This is open to all, not just those attending the reunion. let me know who else would like to come and I can change the reservations.
We can grab a bite, get to know each other, and decide where to go next.
Well it looks like i wont be making it to the tour. Buddy says leaving at 8:30 is too early...and i cant make him go at that time...so chances are Johabs grand entrance will be at the actual bell center when i go to my seats! Really looking forward to meeting all of you and cant wait for the big game! See you all soon!!!
GO HABS GO!!!
