And-o missed BOTH games so far...
Permalink Closed

...what's up gang!!!????

And-o has been on a mini-vacation...and missed both games!

And-o heard the Buffalo game was just plain awesome...and the Leaf tilt must have been a great effort!

Judging from the stats sheets...looks like Niinimaa, Souray and Markov are really logging loads of icetime!  Also, great to see Johnson is fitting in!!!  Thank goodness that the top line came out of the gates firing!!!  Is Kovy doing anything???

Anyway...nice to see...and update And-o please!!!!

(And-o can't believe that Mats Sundin plays about 25 minutes a night...tallies 7 shots on goal...and kills a penalty or two - does he drive the team bus as well???  And-o predicts an injury for this over-used 36 year old.)

and-o the barfalo game was exciting , end to end action , ill let mc girl fill you in on it as i believe she was there with ripple . i missed the T.o. game , wedding , but heard the boys were unimpressive for the first 2 periods but played a good 3rd . i watched the shootout win and kovalev was snakebitten , he hit the crossbar again (also in barfalo)when ryder came out i was worried as he was 0-5 but roofed a beauty to win it for carbs , all in all we got 3-4 points on the road so we cant complain .

Well there's been some concern about the second line, lack of physical presence down low on defense, and some of our defensemen being pylons...but all in all a great weekend!

At least we know which is the 2nd line. It might be the 3rd line soon if those guys don't pick it up.

Has the '2nd line' been THAT bad???

...it may take a while for Pleks to click with Kovy and Samsonov!  And-o isn't too worried!!!

Nice to hear that the 3rd line has done well.  And-o thinks that this depth of talent will serve the Habs well!

The opinion of several of us seems to be that Kovalev and Samsonov are too similar - major talents who have the need to hold the puck a long time - to be on the same line.  Time will tell, but in two games so far there has been some individual effort, but no chemistry and no results.

I missed the pre-season game near the end where that line apparently went wild. Can anyone describe how it went? Obviously there must have been some chemistry.

Yup, I feel your pain And-o, as the school net went down right before game time! Here's hoping that that line sorts itself out... we need them!
