It has only been 2 games but in my opinion Carbo has done very well behind the bench so time for me to eat some crow.. Yes he has made a few mistakes (but even seasoned coaches do) but he seems to be very composed back there and the fact that the team was so happy for him after the win Saturday night is a positive. I think that with all the playing experience he and Jarvis/Muller have as well as Gainey watching from the press box and offering advice it could work very well.
The team has had a few lapses in effort but the fact that they keep coming back is good.

I agree and wasn't worried about these three. They have the team's respect. That'll go a long way to helping out rookie coaches.
I was nervous about Carbo going into this season. I know the guy knows the game very well. I just wasn't sure about how well he understood the technical side of coaching, but so far so good! And if the guys like him and play well for him, all the better. I hope he keeps it up.
