is that a ritual you and ripple have , does getting halfway in a bag make the game more enjoyable .. dont see the logic behind watching a game from a bag , i like my couch , more comfortable .lol

Good thing about bein' half in the bag @ the game is... you have somewhere to hide your face while ya walk out of their arena if you end up losin'.


... but seriously, being completely drunk @ a game is pointless, ya just want a buzz to make ya feel giddy/happy... in Buffalo, it should only take 17 1/2 of their American beers

You Yank-bashers! If you're talking about that piss they call Budweiser or Coors, I agree with you. But there are lots of American beers that are not only great tasting but also pack a whallop. They're mostly microbrews, but I can certainly send a list of them to anyone who'd like them. BTW -- I've had Labatt's and Molsons plenty of times, but they're only slightly better than the Buds of the world. Give a good microbrew -- or better yet a Guinness -- and I'll be a lot happier.

I do agree with you, though, MC, having a beer in hand definitely helps when the Habs are playing! Makes the goals-for all the merrier, and the goals-against easier to swallow!

 MC and Ripple do you know what time the gates open, I believe the game is at 7:30, can't wait to see the boys kick some Sabre Butt and meeting you too of course see you in 18 to 19 hours.  Hoooooooooooray Habs hockey is back!!!!!!!!!

Game starts @ 7:30pm.... we'll leave home @ approx. 6:00pm. (arrivin' in Buffalo @ 6:30~ish)


The doors will be open by then but they don't allow you to go to your seats until 15-30 mins before the game starts. Hense meetin' @ our entrance for Bar sittin'


I'll let you know if the plan changes

Johab, my new job is just up the street from the Keiths Brewery.  It's my favourite beer too, bar none.

Hey Ray,


Remember I was tellin' ya that rwp was exchangin' words with a couple of Sabres fans sittin' behind us?


Well after a penilty was called, one of them reached over me to bang on the glass....  well he & his group of friends got kicked out.....


I LOVED IT!!!


& even though we lost (still took a point though) it was a damn good game.
