 What a charactor! After his hole in one, he shouts out "Tiger where are you"?


 The guy is a class act and funny! Quickly becoming my favorite Russian player ever!

Yes, on his first day ever of playing golf! 


(In the interest of full disclosure, he was at the same par-3 hole all day, taking a tee shot with every foursome that went by.  Still, if that's one hole-in-one for 36 swings - assuming two foursomes per hole on a shotgun start - that's not a bad record.)

AO and I share something in common then... but I was younger when I got my hole-in-one on my first time playing golf. :)

Ab- what I love about this guy is he allows himself to "act his age" and be a kid. Probably because of the language thing. But he does not offer the usual politically correct garbage in an interview. You can tell he is just a good kid. I understand he aloready does a ton of charity work in DC as well.

You probably should have quit the game right then and there!


I'm playing 18 in a corporate event tomorrow, weather permitting.  Hole-in-one not expected.

I think I have been golfing 3 times and the last time was about 10 years ago in Winnipeg. Other than that lucky shot (I am pretty sure it was my ball in the hole!) the rest of my shots were pretty easy to forget about. The only consistent thing about my game was slicing...

Good luck in your tournament and try not to break too many clubs :)

I agree....you cant help but cheer for him...I saw an a segment on him last week where he admitted that he checked Sidney Crosby's box score EVERY NIGHT...and it provided him motivation to get going. Good for him, the kid has cohones...and we are goig to see quite a rivalry over the next 15 years.
