What if Bonk actually was an NHL player in the new NHL? There are alot of what ifs in this game. The more likelys are that Ribs will be so-so and a no-show come playoffs and Bonk will do little as he did last year.
What we can count on is what Saku brings to the team, .80 PPG and well you know the rest...
What if my ex wife's lawyer calls me today and tells me it was all a mistake and that they want to repy me the 20,000 I gave up in the divorce settlement?

Just like What if Brisbois would win the Noris... or What if theo would win the vezina and hart again...
If they do... they do... either way, we know it wasn't going to happen with us.
If Ribs plays with Lindros and Morrow, he does have a chance to get 70 points... those guys might have better chemistry then what we were giving him over here..and if so... good for ribs and smart move by Dallas in taking that chance.
I just hope Niinimma plays well for us and gives us an option if we have to move Sourray at the end of the year.

I agree, Naz. Ribeiro having a good year in Dallas doesn't mean the trade was a bad one. A big year in Dallas doesn't mean he would have had a big year in Montreal. I still think we have a surplus of good defensemen and a shortage of great centremen.
