So for And-o who stated Gainey would pull off a dousy...this probably isn't what he meant or is it?

Uhmmm..in a word..no. It is two teams who simply dumped underachieveing players with similar salaries. This added a bit of depth at defense, but has made the center position look like a piece of swiss cheese. Cmon people..Higgins at center? Aint gonna happen! He only started producing when moved to the wing. Gainey is working on getting a legitimate center as we speak.

Expect either Souray,Rivet orDandeneault, plus one forward/or goalie packaged out for a centreman.
I really hope we are done trading for just a little while. Too much change right before the season starts in a bad thing. The top two lines have found chemistry, the third line looks great, and I trust the work ethic of Begin, Murray, and Latendresse to make the fourth line work.
Looking at our centres is meaningless. Looking at our lines as whole pieces is what counts. Is there anyone who doesn't like the top two lines right now? Even if it is a little early to judge the second line after just one phenomenal game.
Packaging out a D would be suicide for the season. Defense still is our weakest position.
