It was something else to watch Begin sacrifice himself by taking not one but two rocket shots by Mezaros off the shins while killing a penalty. The buzz in the rink was hilarious. Steve limped to the bench, and Carbo was one of the first to meet him at the door to pat him on the back. And Steve being who he is, was out there the very next shift, and it was obvious that he was still feeling the stingers. For that he gets my "Player of the Game" vote.
