TORONTO – The Canadiens hit the road for the first time this preseason, as they head to Toronto for the first game of a home-and-away series against the Maple Leafs. Guy Carbonneau’s crew will be looking for their first win of the preseason after falling 5-2 and 3-1 to the Bruins on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Big ‘dogs: Yann Danis and Jaroslav Halak, the Bulldogs’ goaltending duo at the end of the 2005-06 campaign, will be sharing the duties between the pipes tonight in Toronto. It will be Danis’ second preseason appearance, after stopping 12 of Boston’s 13 shots on Wednesday, when he replaced David Aebischer midway through the contest. Halak, meanwhile, will be making his NHL debut. Called up to Hamilton from the Long Beach Ice Dogs (ECHL) in February, the 21-year-old Slovakian netminder recorded three shutouts in 13 games with the Bulldogs.
Magical duo: Radek Bonk and Guillaume Latendresse shared some memorable moments during the 2005 preseason, as Bonk played a big part in Latendresse’s three-point night against the Lightning. One year later, the two have shown that the magic is still there, with Bonk setting up Latendresse when he scored against Boston on Tuesday.

& the tradition continues..... Leafs get 2 on the PP.
Wonder if they can win a game without the PP's? I wasn't home to see the penilties... were they deserved or was it a "gift" for the Leafs from the ref?

Yeah, that's a real shocker alright!!!
...but that's it in a nutshell gang!
How much longer are we gonna pretend that this ain't the problem??? This organization could add 10 blazing wingers and 6 defensive rocks and STILL NEED SIZE UP THE MIDDLE!!!
