This might be a little premature but the way Huet played last, is it too early to worry?? or have we kicked ourselves in the butt by the netminding fallout of last year and trading Jose? Is Huet capable of holding this team together??? This kinda has me worried.....

Very premature, it was the first meaningless exhibition game. Huet had dmen playing in front of him that will not be on the team come the regular season. Although he gave up 4 goals on 16 shots, all the Bruin goals were on the power play, one of which was a 5 on 3. For established players the exhibition schedule is more about working on different aspects of the game. If there were to be a concern it would be regarding penalty killing, the Habs were lousy last year, and were not very good last night.
Worried about Huet? I'm more worried about the penalties we'll be getting this season. We can't keep expecting Huet to get us out of every jam when our guys our getting stupid penalties in front of him.
Too early to say yet...but as I said earlier, alot of people have talked abot Huet being a "sure thing" to repeat his performance this year. Time will tell. But one need look any further than to a Raycroft or a Theodore to realize that one season does not a career make.

im not worried about huet , and dont expect him to have as good a season as last year . if he can post a .910 save % and a 2.35 to 2.5 we'll be allright .
Even if he isn't alright, we still have Aebischer & Danis who would be a fine duo. Halak is also coming along well. Price should also be pushing hard for a spot next year, so I am not worried at all.

Exactly! I had always wondered if Huet would repeat his performance from last season, but we know as well as Gainey does that he isn't a sure thing. And that's why Aebischer is still around, just in case Huet falters. And if Huet doesn't falter, which I don't believe he will, Aebi will be dealt.
