Can someone tell me how far the Bell Centre is from the Palais des Congres. Can you walk between the 2 buildings ?

I live in Edmonton and will be coming to Montreal to watch the habs play the leafs. My son will be attending a convention at the Palais Des Congres .

I just looked on Google Earth, and it looks like about 10-12 blocks.  I'm sure it's within walking distance, but what the walking is like, who knows?  i.e. it may not be the best street to walk on, busy, etc.  However, if you walk straight south on Saint-Antoine , it will get you right to the Bell Centre.


But to keep it simple, buy a map.
