i have seen a little bit of bitterness on the board lately  especially when it comes to koivu. can be split  up into 3 groups   those who will take everything he does and turn it into a "destroying the habs" type arguement, those who worship him and say he can do no wrong, and the ones who are realistic about it all  (like him, and would like to see him as a hab, but you also know hes not superman)   so with seeing all this i decided NOT to put in my 2 cents in (with all the "2 cents" bein thrown about koivu these days the board can now afford a new wide screen TV) so to destract everyone for at least a few seconds  here are some pictures of my baby!!!  enjoy and forget about koivu   at least for a few seconds






i will get her a jersey soon   and put on pics of that   but for now  enjoy!

Apparently, nobody knows really where the phrase originated, but we can come to a sort of conclusion about its meaning. According to several online dictionaries, the phrase “Cute as a button” is used how it is because of the size of a button. When people are talking about a cute dog, they’re not usually referring to a great dane. They’re usually referring to something small, which is virtually part of the definition of ‘cute’. Since small things are cute, and buttons are small, I guess you could say that buttons are cute.

As far as whether or not it’s a compliment, it depends entirely on context. Generally if you’re a male, and someone tells you you’re Cute as a button, then you may wanna think about taking up weight training. No guy ever wants to be cute as a button. But to girls, I think it’s probably a compliment… most of the time. There’s those times when they’re in one of “those moods” and I’m sure some girls could turn that around and say “A BUTTON?!? Buttons are ROUND! Are you calling me FAT?!?!?”

So there’s your complete, definitive answer to all questions concerning the phrase “Cute as a button”.

Ah, she's adorable.  Makes me want another one - NOT! 


Enjoy her while you can, they grow up so quickly...my teenaged daughters make me pause to think sometimes - where did the time go?  Laugh with her, embrace her in front of her friends (she may protest, but she actually enjoys it) and make sure she knows that you think she's the best thing ever. 


And when it comes to University, have her join the military - it's cheaper!

yes   she is my first      thanks for the advice habgirl   although im not sure i want her in the military lol.  and MC  thanks for the cute as a button history    i would have never thought of lookin that up
