And-o will get a kick out of this.....when Saku steps on the ice they should play Iron Man by Black Sabbath............

I'm all for the hard rock approach Barry. All that damn strip joint music they play during the game should be saved for AFTER the game....when we are actually in a strip joint.....

Hells Bells would be a great one when playin' @ home.

Hallowed be thy name - Iron Maiden

Time the intro so the song goes mental just as the players hit the ice, a good minute or two of anticipation, then, hell breaks loose.

- Spin the Black Circle - Pearl Jam - fitting regardless of taste, what with all the black circle chasing the sport has.

- for those who want the season NOW, Wake Me Up when September Ends (Green Day).

- and for Ribs, Travailler c'est trop dur - I believe by Zachary Richard.

Every other pro and minor league team plays that '80 rock stuff. We need to be different. Personally, I like the Coldplay intro and U2 scoring songs.

I kinda like the Beatle's title "It Won't Be Long" as in won't be long before we see #25 (here's hop'in)...then again I love anything by the Fab 4.

I guess as a traditionalist, I liked the more old fashion tune of the 70's goal song. Not sure what it was called.

I actually was thinking about this recently... I hate the U2 songs for the last few years... at first it was nice, but come on, show variation...

My choices would be:

Master of Puppets from Metallica... or actuall One from Metallica... with all the bombs and shooting going off in the beginning... make it like a war zone...

Hells Bells and Thuderstruck are very good ideas too...

the THX intro...

the entrance music for John Cena from wrestling.

What ever it is... just change it ....

The old montreal Goal song was MUCH better....it just sang habdom. As for the U2....i wasnt a big fan of it, but it grew on me, id still take the old one over it though. As for entrance music. Sandstorm by Darude was a favorite. Personally before a game....these are songs that REALLY get me pumped

Ive found the PERFECT song for the maple leafs tho!!....Anyone with a media downloader, download Yakety Sax and listen...and try not to laugh while thinking about the leafs coming out to this song. I was hurting...a good hurting...

My Buddy's girlfriend works for the habs, and she apparently spoke to the guy that is in charge of the music, asking why he got rid of the wicked goal song and replaced it with U2. Aparently he is a huge U2 fan and despite constant urging by fans (there was a petition brought to him over the matter) he refuses to stop playing that U2 garbage.

I loved the old goal song, its my ringtone, and personally think te switch is part of an international consperacy to get everyone to listen to U2 around the clock, even if they hate the band.... Just joking.... But seriously, enough with the overplayed cr@p we are getting. hit us with the original song again!!!

Well hopefully this year they realize that the fans want the old song back and actually listen to us! I absolutely LOVE that song, and I'll be really upset if they use Vertigo or a song like it again this year.

As for the other music at the Bell Centre, I'm fine with all of it.

I actually like the U2 song... but come on, mix it up a little.

Intro, must pound, pound like Komisarik beating the tar out of that Islander (I think) who ran Huet. Komi=new Domi, Probert, Nilan. I want to see this kid kick some bum. He can do it.

Goal song, Ole Ole Ole Ole. Who does not love that, it sounds like a taunt.

You can listen to it here but you can't save it to your computer unless you mike it and record it that way. I did a bit of searching a while back and found it but I don't remember where I downloaded it from..........
