Is Saks seriously at risk
Permalink Closed

Are some of you saying he may be forced to retire because his eye is in a fragile state? What are the risks of re-injuring?

Personally I don't expect him to play more than his usual 65 games or so. Not because of his eye but because he will typically burn out and be prone to any type of injury.

The little guy just can't handle the grind of a 82 game season. If he comes close, he labours through unproductive stretches like last season.

Gainey would be the wiser to have him rest every 5 games or so to keep him playing and productive all season. Just a thought.

That's just great AB.....now 'Saint Saku' is to Montreal what the pitching 'rotation' is to baseball!!!  What's next???

Ain't it great to have such stability in the role of the 'C'!?!?  What a treat it is just to know for certain what the team can expect from their 'leader'!

Yeah, having Saku sure is a luxury alright!!!

What a soap-opera!!!  And-o just prays that training camp isn't all about this nonsense again/still!

Cripes you guys...this guy is starting to make Benoit Brunet look like Cal Ripken in terms of longevity and durability!

Honestly!?!?!

ab why did you do that , you gave and-o an excuse to go off on 1 of his tirades about nothing , he should be a writer for seinfeld , he says a boatload of **** , and says nothing in the same breath , at least nothing we haven't heard before . now as for saks , he'll be there on opening night , ready to play , as far as him wearing down , well , the way i look at it if the second line can take some presure of of him i see him being good for the year , except if he happens to have another freak accedent , then he'll have to ask and-o if its alright that he take some time off to heal.
