Its a french audio recording of an interview with the organizer of a power skating school which Mike Ribs is currently attending this offseason. The audio is in french only, and it takes 3-4 minutes before they talk about Mike, but they spend the whole time afterwards about Mike's progress and attitude. To sum it up, he's trying hard to improve his skating speed, and intensity. He's asking for more training, extra time. And devoting himself to the school to better his hockey.
Its good news for the Habs, maybe he realizes he'll be the slowest player on his line, and will want to keep up.

That's all very good news, and bodes well for his upcoming year. I hope he's also eating about 10 double cheeseburgers a day to put on a few pounds.

Now now, we want him to gain. But we don't want him to gain the wrong type of eight that could slow him down even more. He'll be bulking up using a hypertrophy program as well as eating a good balance of carbs and protein. And I wouldn't be surprized if he was having a creatine cycle added to help him out.
Whatever the case, it sounds like he's committing himself. That is a good thing because I think he's harmless and probably liked by his teamates. I think even Saks was taking to him by seasons end and that's probably his only rival...well maybe Rivet also

I sure hope he's not using creatine. If I'm correct, it's been banned by many sports teams. It would definitely help him bulk up; there's no question there. But there are far better ways to do it.

I don't see why they would be. Its not a performance enhancing drug. Its not illegal in any North American country. And it gets the job done. There is no risk if 'overdosing' you just have the ****s like there is no tomorrow. I took creatine about a 2 years ago and it was good. All it does is that it facilitates the transport of nutrients to the place your muscles need it most.

lol!!!! Its not pleasent man. There is no control over it. I accidently used too much once because it was pina-colata (sp?) flavored and I went crazy on it.
I dont think we need to worry about Ribs bulking up too much..if anyone has an appropriate nickname it is "Ribs". In fact, rumour has it that this weekend a photographer form La Presse tried to get a picture of Ribs at a local strip bar..but he hid behind the stripper pole. As for his skating, there is a problem there as well. The rink he has been practicing at is complaining about the grooves that his chair is leaving in the ice.

On the other hand, he's so light that his skates probably don't leave any marks!
Actually I am just having some fun at the old Ribster's expense. I truly hope that he has seen the light and that he now knows what it takes to stay in the NHL and is willing to do whatever it takes to stay there. If he does, that can only mean great things for the Habs.

yeah, I hope word doesn't get around to fast, I want him in my pool. I have a gut feeling about him this year (hopefully it doesn't bite me in the ass and I get quoted).
