We are not making fun of you Habsfan4life, this is a rumour that has been floating around for almost a week and it has been picked up by a couple of message boards. It is completely bogus in many respects: Habs give up next to nothing; Washington dumps a D that they can't afford to lose and don't get a replacement; without an agreement with Russia, Semin is stuck there, so San Jose gets jacked, etc...

Too often when rumours "come up/made up" they forget that the other team wants to get better also. For this to have any chance we would have to ADD Souray and Perezhogin at MINIMUM. Won't happen.

Donīt know about that trade, but if that donīt happen Semin will play for Caps next 2 season and will 1.3 mil/season
