Does it surprise you that a guy with a name that means "the tenderness" would get hurt?  All kiding, aside, this is not good news.  We need a kid like this to step in and really make a name for himself and set the wheels in motion for a big season.  Our 2-3 years to contend starts now and we need these kids!

The injury is worrisome but not damaging to this immediate season in Montreal.

Hes still young and i doubt he would make the habs anyway.  He would have to crack the top three lines to get enough icetime to justify being on the team instead of playing in the Q.  Hes only 19, no reason to rush him up if your only gonna put him in the pressbox or 4th line.

No, but it will seriously harm his development. At this age, making and playing for the Jr team would have been a big boost to him.

He should still make the JR team.  He is a returnee from last year.  This is the development camp not the tryout camp.  Pogge wasn't even at the summer camp last year.

He will not be cut due to this injury.  If he is cut it will be due to a bad October/November in the QMJHL and a bad WJC Selection camp in December.  If healthy he is a lock to be invited to the selection camp.  That is where the final decisions will be made.

The real worry is that he also had a concussion during the 2005 QMJHL playoffs.  As this is his second concussion in 16 months, that is a little disturbing and a trend I don't want to continue in the future

Im just saying, concussions are not good, and their effects linger and can haunt players their entire career. But again, IN BOB I TRUST.

He better show up for the World Juniors 30 pounds lighter than last year or he'll see pine again.  Sutter couldn't believe how overweight he was.

WHOOPTY-FREAKIN-DO!

This kid has shown me nothing. The only thing he has shown is that he can't cut it amongst the top 25 juniors. he is soft, fat, and lazy. GREAT!

Why is this kid getting so much attention? The habs have more impressive up and coming talent. Apparently this kid has zero work ethic...and unless that changes, he may as`well start his acting career...as the next lard ass spokesman for subway...

Sorry Fig. But the kid did show up over weight and did very little to rectify it all last season. Plus he is known to be extremely lazy and soft.

But I am willing to conceed that the post was somewhat over the top. My apologies if I offended you.

Ah, no biggie. I didn't realize that he was taking for granted that he gets to play hockey for a living. From the sound of it, he doesn't deserve the CH right now anyway. Less work ethic than David Wells.
