Not only does Marty usually play his best game against us especially in Montreal, but now they have Julien behind the bench, who knows this whole team practically....i never bet against the habs on proline, but if there playin the Devils i may try to make some money. What do you guys think Julien will do with that team?
For what it is worth I do not expect Jersey to be much different in their play than they were last year. In other words a team built around a strong goalie, one high scoring line, and a team that is defensively responsible over all, They will no doubt be a different team depth wise (Gomez and one other high priced player will be gone), but they will use those trades to fill other holes. The thing that drove certain players crazy when Julien coached n Montreal was his insistence that they be defensively accountable and stick to a system. The Jersey's, and ultimately CJ's, success, will be how the players buy into that system.
The thing about a coach like Julien, or Pat Burns, or Mike Keenan, is that they are sticklers for their system and sticking with it. Because of this, they enjoy success for a couple years wherever they go, but then the veterans begin to rebel because the system "Suffocates their creativity". In short, Jersey will be successful for a year or two, but then again, they always have been so no change there.

i dont know about that barry , jersey has been playing defense for so long they would forget how to play otherwise . i think julien will enjoy a long coaching tenure in the swamp , on a side note an old joke to lighten the mood . why does jersey have all the toxic waste dumps and california all the lawyers ---------- jersey got first pick .
