LOL, Allision can't skate, he would not fit well with our fast team, Daze will play about 6 games for you , he missed all the year before the lockout and all the lockout year and he still had to have back surgery last year. Leetch would be ok for a one year deal but he is probablly asking for big dollars.

leetch is looking for 2 mill, I would sign him for 1 year, then trade Bonk and Ribs for a decent center

I'm not interested in anyone else that is left. Samsonov was the only other UFA that I was interested in getting.

Apparently Eric Daze won't return to the NHL. His back might curtail his career.

Its a good thing as we have no cash left anyway. After Ryder signs for 2.5 that leaves us with about 2.5 for trade deadline deals. I think that the team you see is what will start..unless a good trade comes along.

Signing Jason Allison would be a colossal mistake. The guy is so slow on the ice he is likely to get vertigo as his teammates whiz by him. He was a big reason for the Laffs dismal season. He is a lead weight out there on the ice.

We aren't done with salary dumps IMO or trades that give us more cap space

The free agent i would want the habs to get are either... Yanic Perrault or Petr Sykora. BG is smart he wont go get .a slow player (ALLISON) a player that hasnt played in a long time (DAZE) or a old defencemen who wants to much (LEETCH)
