Its a bit of speculation i picked up on another board.  There is a poster there who apparently has some inside source of some kind, who says Gainey and Legwands agent have talked (he is RFA headed to arbitration right now).  Now normally i put these type of reports in my "someone is claiming something and is just trying to rile people up/look cool/ they really have no inside info pile" but this particular poster has had some scoops recently and in the past.  Hes well respected for his inside knowledge on that board, much like noone questions Barry and CJ's relatationships on this board.  If he says guys have talked, they probably have and i wouldn't be surprised if a "legit" place has this rumour up shortly.  For example he knew of the offers to Shanny and Elias before they were reported on by RDS.  Now he is saying Gainey has made inquiries as to what it would take to get Legwand.

The Zednick part of the rumour is my added speculation, as that is what i think might be a place to start offers.

What would others offer to get Legwand, what do you think Nash will want.
