Chris Simon has signed a one year deal with the Islanders. This will give that team much needed character and toughness. I predict that with Ted Nolan coaching, this team will surprise alot this year. I say they make the playoffs.

100% - Nolan will bring character to that team, so Yashin better be ready to work in his system, or addisos amigo

Any idea if Nolan is going to bring his system guy Flynn along with him to the big apple?

fatherhab- Flynn had a one year leave of absence with ST FX last year to coach with Nolan in Moncton. He tendered his resignation last week to the University fuelling speculation he is heading to Long Island. Danny Flynn is well respected in hockey circles and will bring that PP and PK around..you ar eexactly right, he is a systems specialist. He and Nolan work very well together. You are right about Yashin too. Memo to Alexei: Ted Nolan is now your coach. Party time is over.
