For all those lamenting the Habs signing of Riberio, the positive news is that the club has sign Grabovsky to a three year deal, and he will be coming to North America for the upcoming season. This guy has all the talent and skill to ultimately replace Riberio as the teams second line center. Although a little on the small side, he stands 5 feet 11 inches, andweighs 180 pounds, he has unbelievable speed with great acceleration. By all accounts he has a great wrist shot, and the scouting report indicates he has great on ice vision, great playmaking skills and strong on one on one battles. All the qualities that Riberio lacks! Grabovsky had a great performance for Belarus in the world championships last season. Could be another great late draft selection by the Habs. (They drafted him in the 5th round of the 2004 draft).
Thanks for the update, Wright. I hope your optimism is well-placed. He certainly looks good on paper (I like that "strong on one on one battles" part).

I really do not know much about him either..but as much as I have been critical of some of BG's moves, I admire and trust the judgement that he and Trevor Timmins have shown in talent the past couple of years. We are drafting much better than in past years.
