Although I am in full agreement that we really need a top-two center, I have to say that I like the rest of our middle crew. Koivu is consistently strong and is an excellent #2. Plekanec showed that he can be a Koivu jr. and should build on that even more this season. And Bonk really improved his play in the 2nd half of the season and now that he has made the adjustment, should give us more bang for the buck. We really could use a right-hander who is strong on face-offs and maybe have them play right-wing on the Bonk/Begin line, as well. Is Lapierre ready?

And-o thinks Plekanec's is the key to this group's success.  The kid seemed to show flashes of brilliance...he just needs to be more consistent, which should come with age!

Exactly, its still the 'immaturity' that doesn't have him a consitent player. he's still growing up, which feels like a weird thing to say consider I'm only 23.
