He may be the last player to retire with the team he first started playing with. I can't think of any player who is untouchable like Stevie Y.

Great plaer, great man. I had the chance to shake his hand when I was about 9. I just just started to play hockey (started late), I didn't know who he was at the time, but I still remember the time I did see him, when I later learned who he was, and how nice he was to me, and the other kids that were there. It just put everything into perspective how some people can never lose touch with what they mean to others....

The only other guy in the league who comes even close to being in the same class as Stevey Y is Joe Sakic. Nice guys who never forgot where they started.
