i dont understand bob gainey if he really wanted to improve the habs he would be trying very hard to get a free agent or two to help montreal for the 2006/07 season.But i guess he likes the players that he has bonk downey streit zednik ribeiro all players with a lot heart other gms seem to have no problem improving their teams you cant tell me bob gainey could of not tried to get ed jovanoski for our defence instead he overpays francois boullion for 3 years to anchor the defence and signs mark striet to 2years we need andre savard as gm again not bob gainey.

the hell with jovo, he's injury prone and is being waaaay overpaid IMO. And the ay people are talking about him, its like he's Ray Bourque or something.

I don;t think GM Gainey merits the criticism.


I think everyone needs a reality check.


I truely think it has more to do with players NOT wanting to come to Montreal to play.

I agree with Mario.....Savard as GM?  Don't think so.  Bob is doing just fine.....easy for us to second guess.

Thanks Habtastic I think I remember a conversation that took place a few months back where someone had called macneil "reddog".  I'm guessing it was his nic name on the old forum or something along those lines.

I am actually very interested in how everyone knows whast BG is thinking since I haven't seen anything in the media.
