 Look for free agents to be sign quickly. The longer they wait, the more deminished cap space GMs have to offer.


 It's not in Gainey's nature to be assertive but he'll have to be aggressive to compete with the big boys.

Things are already looking a bit strange out there with Chara signing with Boston and Jovanovski signing with Phoenix....both of which are going to be non-competetive teams in 06-07 in my opinion. I guess big money trumps the prospect of playing for a winning team...at least with these guys anyways.
