I was very pleased - and I must admit, more than a little surprised - to see Dick Duff voted in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Not bad for a guy who barely averaged 0.5 PPG in his career (1030 GP, 282 G 289 A 572 Pts.).
I (vaguely) remember him being on a very productive line with Jean Beliveau and Bobby Rousseau in the late 60's.
Congratulations, Dick!
(Maybe now we should start calling him Richard? )

And-o should know Dick Duff, since he played ten years or so with his favourite team, the Laffs, before wising up and coming to Montreal.

And-o wasn't even a twinkle in his mother's eye when Neil Armstrong stepped out of that Campbell's Soup can of a rocket...and you expect him to know about some guy who spent most of his career playing hockey on Church Street in 'Terona'!!!
Nil'd might better try to drain that Ocean you reside next to with a teaspoon and a paper cup, as opposed to playing 'time machine trivia' with a mid-30's man from South Central Ontario!

Point taken.
But Dick Duff is a Hall of Famer, not exactly a nobody. (And he coached the Leafs for a few games even.)
