that is cheap depending on if you are comparing him to McCabe (who is much worse and got 5.75 per year)


or expensive if you compare him to Pronger (better and is signed for 6.25 million per)

This re-signing is not a surprise…and ‘Red’ is certainly worth a boat-load of buckeroos!


 


…and if you are going to ‘overpay’ someone (although And-o thinks that this is fair market value) than you might best do it to a guy who is capable of logging 30+ minutes per game (and who is very capable of playing in any and all situations).


 

Plus…and quote And-o on this one…Wade Redden is the next Captain of the Ottawa Senators, which is a real wise choice!!!
