Surely Bob will be able to bolster the blueline from this list!

My only question is if our top-six is Markov, Souray, Komisarek, Rivet, Bouillon, and Dandenault, then one of them needs to be bumped to the extra and then Streit will need to be traded. I think Dandy would become the extra (I would use him as a forward again, and keep Streit as the extra), but if we get two-guys, then who else gets traded besides Streit?

I heard that Bouillon may be walking because he wants a considerable raise. Word is he's been giving the club the "hometown discount" and now wants more money. I like Bouillon, but if we have the cap space to bring in a top notch d-man, I think we should take that opportunity.

the only questions about bouillon is how much is the "considerable raise" and can we get a better d-man for the same price i like bouillon but hes not worth 3 mil or so a year

Boullion at anything more than 1.5 mill is too much. I like him, but he is what he is, a good 5th or 6th dman, but not a top 4 guy.

If Gainey can't add one of the top tier guys, players like Spacek (he had a great playoff for EDM), and Pothier are ungrades over Bouillion.

I like Bouillion for his heart & determination, but he's an undersized 5th or 6th dman, who won't hurt you. But the idea is to get better, not remain status quo every year, and get bounced in the 1st round, or not make the playoffs.

I don't know if that was a typo, but I think it's a brilliant new term for someone you thought was going to be an upgrade, but turned out to be not so hot...

And god knows the habs have been stuffed with ungrades for the last decade...

BG please pick Spacek, the guy is underrated and and will be cheaper than most of the d-man on that list, plays the power play and is good defensively. Please take a stab at him.
