Bulis Wants Out...
Permalink Closed

Apparently Bulis feels like he is underappreciated as a hab and wants out. I like the guy but he never formed into the player we wanted him to be. This opens up more room for a rookie or free agent. Also, Talks with bouillion and his agent dont seem to be going very good and he may take a dip into free agency to see what he gets offered. But talks are still going on. I hope bouillon resigns. He may be small but he was one of our best consistantly all year.

Thank Gainey on that one. He basically benched him to send a message that he doesn't want him back. I really think we'll miss Bulis's speed. Trust me...other teams will be all over him with a solid offer sheet!

There were many nights when Bulis refused to go into the corners. We need someone who's gonna dig deep every night.

Name Hab players that do go into the corners. Zednik comes to mind but many posters already have him traded.

I like Bulis a lot, but he does play a bit scared. The problem this year was his focus - he wanted to be a top-six game and so he kept taking chances offensively and was missing his defensive assignment. I don't blame Gainey, he benched Bulis to remind him that it is a team game and not a "I want to buff my stats to make more money game."

Personally I'd like to keep both, but if I have to make a choice I'll take The Cube...

Mark my words - Bulis scores 30+ goals whoever signs him.

Buh-Bye Bulis.  This guy was scared of his own shadow and coughed up the puck in the neutral zone so often it was sickening.

I went public skating last year, I saw a few guys who could fill Bulis' shoes.  I have a few words.  Naa naa naa naa, naa naa naa naa naa, hey hey hey goodbye.  Bulis won't be missed by me, at all.  Time to bring in a real left winger.  My personal opinion is that left wing is our biggest hole.  Lets hope BG fills it.

Wouldn't it have been nice to pick up Tanguay instead of Abeshier. But who knew Huet would astound.
